50 % Merlot, 50 % Cabernet Sauvignon) is a 8 ha vineyard from the famous Margaux appellation area of Bordeaux. Grown from the gravel, the Château Pontet-Chappaz benefits from the same soil as all the Grands Crus of the area. This Château is regularly awarded by wine medals. This wine has roasted aromas, cooked fruits and vanilla aromas. On the palate, it is full-bodied, supple, tannic, elegant and homogeneous. Best matched with mushrooms, red meats, cheese, and served at 17-18°.
